Cloudy straw color, little fluffy clouds of head and lacing. Scents of lemon and dank grassiness. Taste is lemony, slight grassiness, bit of a breadiness. Dry finish, crisp, easy drinking, lighter to medium bodied, stronger than the average lager. Pretty good.

Another Barrel and Flow beer to try tonight; first beer from this brewery. I poured into a Pokal; the temperature was 44 degrees. A frothy and airy three-finger white head was created. The slow dissipation left loads of lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 4, pale straw with light golden hues. This beer is hazy with yeasty bubbles. The appearance is excellent for this style.
I smell toasted crackers, floral, a hint of pine resin, grapefruit, orange, and a touch of band-aids. The aromas are somewhat muted. The hops do not smack your nose like a traditional IPA.
I taste crackers, floral, oranges, grapefruit, pine resins, lightly toasted malts, phenols, and herbal.
The mouthfeel of the beer is crisp, astringent, and clean. The body is light, medium carbonation, lasting finish.
An outstanding IPL. The hops meld well with the firm malt backbone. The malts are not overbearing and lightly toasted. Refreshing beer for a summer night, alas it is not even close to being warm here.

A: The beer is a bit hazy light pale yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that has very good retention properties and never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of floral hops and lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the citrusy flavors are more prominent and there are also hints of spicy hops. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is very easier to drink and the aromas and flavors of hops seem to be a bit more "delicate" compared to other IPLs.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light to medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly grassy hops, lemon, grapefruit and light hay. Flavor follows with pale malt with some light biscuit, citrus and grassy hops, lemon, grapefruit, floral hay and crackers. Lingering lemony and citrus rind finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. It's been a long time since I've had an IPL and I see that's too bad; this is refreshing and flavorful. The greater malt depth of the lager is even more appealing to me than pale ale malt, which I like well enough. The hops are very nice and balanced towards the citrus end, but with a pleasant background of Noble hops that have some floral notes with the grassiness. The dry hopping is well handled. I liked this quite a lot.

16oz can into a pint glass. 2021 release for Barrel & Flow Festival. Happy to be taking part cyberly so to speak.

Looks pretty good in the glass. Hazy yellow body with a decent white head. This shrinks to a ring and covering, some lacing early on.

Hoppy, dry hopped, faintly citrus on the nose.

On tasting, comes off very well balanced. Slight sweet malt, good hop note, dry hopping seems restrained. Very drinkable.

Mouth between medium and full, finish a citrus wash without the zest. Loving this.

Overall, well put together IPL, nicely balanced. Could drink these all day.
