From a 16oz can, undated. Purchased at the brewery 03/25/23. Served in a willi becher pub glass.
Pours a very pretty clear and glowing honey-gold with two fingers of frothy whipped egg white-like foam. Retention is very good, leaving chunky lacing.
Nose is fruity, grassy. Aromas of yeasty bread and apples. Smells like noble hops.
Taste is woody, harsh and almost lacquer-like, with huge grassy, leafy bitterness. Tasting sandalwood, tree leaves and grapefruit rinds.
Feel is resinous, medium-hefty bodied with bright, almost aggressive carbonation.
Can’t say I was a big fan of this one. The aroma suggested I was about to sip at a helles or something and then my palate got smacked with I-don’t-even-know what kind of IBU’s. If you told me that Experimental Hops was code for ‘chopped tree leaves’ I would totally believe it.
Another undated can… sigh.

The Brewery At Four Star Farms Lager - Pale
Clear gold classic pils look. Sour grasses and tangy wheat, corn and herbal mix flavor's are all over the place. Mt. Rainier hops are spicy and green. Light bready malt with soft pepper and toast all seems very in depth and complex, especially in the malt
