A- Cloudy straw yellow body with thin white head. The head eventually fandes to a collar and the brew leaves behind some lacing in the glass. The fog in this beer moves around and makes it seem alive.

S- Light nose of spicy belgian yeast. In the background are sour earthy esters, corriander, and hints of citrus.

T- Strong sour estery and somewhat acidic taste all the way through. Spicy belgian yeast upfront with citrus and corriander in the background. The finish is somewhat acidic. Spicy belgian yeast reamains on the palate.

M- Light carbonation and smooth yeasty body. Goes down easy.

D- This is a decent saison with a nice farmhouse feel. This is a little bit spicier than others that I have tried but thats a good thing. Something I would like to order again.

Presentation: On tap at the brewery, poured into a shaker pint, served with a f-ing lemon slice, which I hastily removed.

Appearance: A slightly hazy golden yellow with a thin, off white head.

Aroma: Distinctly Belgian yeast strain aroma. Estery, yeasty and spicy.

Taste and Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation, medium bodied. The Belgian yeasty esters hit first with a bit of malt sweetness, followed by the spices, which I couldn't really put my finger on (but I now know is grains of paradise). But there was a very disagreeable funkiness to this beer. Not the Boon Lambic type funk, but similar to the taste of anything fermented by my local wild yeasts (like an infected homebrew I made a while back). Unfortunately, this lasts to the finish.

Notes: There's either something wrong with the fermentation (infection), or this recipe is just no good. The funkiness made this beer barely drinkable. It's not often that I can't finish a beer, particularly when I've paid good money for a pint of it, then it's pretty bad.
