Draught @ CBW: This one poured a clear, darker brown color. There was a small off-white head that left some lacing. It had a nice nose. Wheat, banana, rye, clove, some spices were the most obvious. The taste is also very good. It had a medium body, and a slightly silky texture. Flavors of wheat, rye, banana, clove. This was very good!

Roggenbeer ontap at the Church Brew Works Restaraunt.
Not to be confused with the Rye Pale Ale, the Roggen pours a dark brown with a small off white head.
Aroma is of bready malts primarily with a whiff of grain.
Light malts start things off, slightly bready and even nutty at first. Then there is a minerally/metallic bitterness from the hop and rye adds a touch in the finish with just a peppery spiciness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly smooth. Ample carbonation throughout, solid mouthfeel.
This is a pretty good beer offered by the Church Brew Works. I'd reccommend trying it if youre ever in the area, worthy.
