Red Nebyller

Pours a pinkish copper color with a short livid head. Smells floral and a bit metallic, as well as wheat malt and banana tones. In the taste, wheat malt with a small tartness and clove note. Mild bitterness and earthy flavors from the rose hips used in brewing. Only 10 ibu so hardly bitter, but not all that sweet. Finishes with dry wheat and a pinch of clove and peppery Belgian yeast influence. A little bit of mineral, vegetative notes. Full bodied feel with ample carbonation. Overall, an interesting brew, but not a great Saison. Still, a drinkable brew, with some wild yeast this could really be a great base to build off of.
