Church Brew Works : D'Pomme Rye Saison
Pours a clear deep blonde, with a short lived white bubbly foam. Aroma of spicy Belgian yeast, apple cider, and earthy spices. In the taste, spiced cider qualities and an earthy yeast character. Pepper and dry coriander work with the spicy yeast and peppery rye. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated, with a peppery dry finish. Overall, this is a nice brewing experiment for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week. Good dry saison brewed with apples.
