Served on-tap at Church Brew Works on 5-4-14

A - Clear straw yellow color with one finger of fizzy white head, medium lacing.
S - Yeasty tart green apple, clove, floral notes, various spices
T - Nice tart apple, but not overly sour, some medium spice to it, rye definitely there.
M - Very light and crisp, refreshing
O - Good balance of flavors, a refreshing brew for sure.

Church Brew Works : D'Pomme Rye Saison

Pours a clear deep blonde, with a short lived white bubbly foam. Aroma of spicy Belgian yeast, apple cider, and earthy spices. In the taste, spiced cider qualities and an earthy yeast character. Pepper and dry coriander work with the spicy yeast and peppery rye. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated, with a peppery dry finish. Overall, this is a nice brewing experiment for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week. Good dry saison brewed with apples.
