Good balance of lemon zest to lager goodness. Refreshing summer sipper as advertised.

my first from farmers since they have come into idaho, i think a good addition to this market, on tap and easy drinking, this is a lemon lager brewed for summer, which is passing by the day, but i think this is subtle enough to be an all year drinker, despite the name, i love how minimal it is, how solid the base beer is, and how the lemon is only an accent, its not overdone at all, some might say its too light, but i like what it does for this, lager first, fruit beer way later. slightly richer looking than blonde, but its not quite into that golden range, pretty clear for being unfiltered, short but lasting half inch of puffy white head on it, loads of carbonation, really lively and bright. the nose is basic lager yeast thats not quite neutral, a simple pale two row barley like straight base malt at the core it seems, it stays away from that more expressive crackery pils character, at least for the most part, some minerality is evident as well, and hops seem light to me. the lemon is zesty and natural, all on the swallow, and definitely mild overall, no bitterness or acidity from it at all either, and the flavor is the same, clean lager with a muted lemon back end, the citrus makes it fresh and thirst quenching, and after a long day this really hit for me, refreshing and brisk, great with sushi too! there is faint middle sweetness that fades slow, giving it a little body to me, the lemon cuts that back fast, but its nice movement in a simple beer. the mouthfeel is great too, not so light that its missing something, but pushed quick by high carbonation, each sip is new too. the lemon being dosed so light is pleasant, and there is some real integrity to this. looking forward to seeing what else comes around from these guys!

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Please golden pour with a flashy foam head that fades quickly. Grant, bready aroma, hint of lemon. Taste follows with biscuit lager notes, the slight lemon kick replacing any hops crispness. Very easy to drink
