No canning date (released on 9/3/21, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 9/17/21
Pours a turbid, milky straw hue topped with three fingers of dense, soapy, white foam; solid head retention leaves a thin veil of cap over the surface, a thin, frothy collar, and the occasional soapy splotching of lacing at points around the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens strongly with lush strawberry and a medicinal mango undertone; papaya fades into punchy pumpernickel bread crumbs as underripe white grape stiffens the nectar-like sweetness while a hint of booziness interwoven in the bouquet.
Taste offers a dense overlay of mushy guava, papaya, and hints of ripe strawberry upfront; the mid-palate finds peach zest meeting black peppercorn as the back end of the profile continues to embrace earthy, saturated hop character in the form of mango nectar and fresh grass accents on the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body with carbonation on the lower end of moderate, and maintaining a soft, prickly texture into mid-palate; creamy-smooth toward the back end as the subtle warmth of the near-10% ABV creeps in; a densely saturated, juicy finish brings tinges of bittering resins lingering.
A dense amalgam of sweet fruit saturation, waxy and deep; the triple dry-hopping levies intensity and ripeness, largely to an untamed excess, though what does come through cleanly is both palatable and captivating to the senses.
