The story of Fram’Scaldis is first and foremost the story of a beautiful encounter. The encounter of raspberry beer and Scaldis Caractère. This hoppy pleasure has existed for a long time in form of a cocktail mixing the two beers. Until one day… the brewery decided to tie the knot and… two became one : Frambush.
Launched in 2022, Fram’Scaldis is the result of the meticulous work of our brewers, seeking the perfect balance between the strength of Scaldis Caractère and the subtlety of natural raspberry extracts. A clever blend that will undoubtedly delight strong fruity beers lovers.
Speaking of strong fruity beers, the Fram’Scaldis joins the Peach Mel’Scaldis, enlarging the brewery’s range of fruity beers …. Don’t you think it’s time to meet these two?

330 ml bottle, as Dubuisson Fram'Bush, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. . ABV is 8.5%. Deep red colour, huge pink head. Intense aroma of ripe raspberries, as expected. The flavour is medium sweet with loads of raspberries, again as expected, but there is also a fairly distinct hop bitterness in the finish, which keeps the beer from falling in the "sweet & cloying" category. Well worth sampling.

Blending the longstanding Scaldis Caracter strong blond with raspberry provides the brewery with a fruity, tart and refreshing drink with a kick.
Fram'Scaldis draws the eye with a deep pink color and a sheet of froth that brings the perfume of red berry, floral scents and peppery wine. Sweeter with a candied and mild pastry effect, the malt profile is redolent with fruit juice and a slight pectin balance. Moderate acidity finishes the session with a long draw of distinctive raspberry puree.
Medium bodied and rounded on the palate, the ale is caught between sourness and fruitiness for a refreshing but boldly flavored beer of fruit and fauna.
