Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Troon Brewing.
Doppelbock inspired lager, brewed with Rabbit Hill Farms grains, and lagered on Brazilian Amburana wood. Layers of cinnamon-sugar dusted oatmeal raisin cookies, date leather, and toasted whole wheat bread dipped in caramel sauce.

Pours like mildly flat cola, with a dark caramel color, and a head that is hesitant to develop. Needs an aggressive pour to really show up, and disappears almost immediately.
Aroma is very light with notes of oatmeal cookies, light caramel, pralines, and light orange peel.
Flavors are also light, but there is the unmistakable flavor of oatmeal cookies, with raisins, cinnamon, molasses, and a slight touch of orange peel you get in an Old Fashioned.
As it warms, it gets VERY thin and flat. I prefer my lagers to be a bit more carbonated to add body to a light beer style. This dropped a ball a bit. Overall, a pretty interesting beer, from two world class breweries.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
