Brewed using a single decoction on a grist composed 100% of local malthouse barley, hopped in the mash and early boil w/ whole leaf German Mittelfruh hops, hopped in the later boil/whirlpool w/ Loral hops from the Pacific Northwest, and ever so lightly dry-hopped with Motueka from New Zealand. This pislner allows us to showcase the foundational complexities and character of our local grain as well as a harmonious meld of hops from three of the major growing regions across the world.
An inviting, bright, and pale appearance delivers restrained yet exceptionally complex malt character, a most elegant spice mix, soft floral bouquets, warm early summer potpourri, notes of properly fermented bread, and a crisp and return-worthy finish.
