On draught at the brewery. Served in a stemless glass. It pours a cloudy, grassy, pastel yellow color with a huge, fluffy, bright white cap and lots of soapy lacing. The smell offers mellow lemon and lime, along with pineapple and the funk of the Brettanomyces. Its taste provides a very nice balance of mild, tart citrus, and sweeter pineapple, along with the distinct taste of the Brett yeast. In particular, the interplay between the tart citrus and pineapple is impressive. The Hallertau Tradition hops contribute musty, grassy, herbal notes and the overall flavors are gentle and appealing. As expected, the carbonation is lively and it drinks easily at 5.6% ABV. Overall, while this is not a go-to style for me, I like this beer a lot. It would be great outdoors during the summer - particularly with seafood.
