Bottle acquired at Weyermann's pilot brewery fan shop and poured into a mini bierkrug (.3L) in Bamberg, Germany. Reviewed live.
A: Three finger head of slight cream, fair thickness, and average retention. Clear dark yellow colour.
Sm: Yeast and hopped barley. Fairly light strength.
T: Yeast, lemon ester hops, and pleasant cream on the finish. Some more citrusy esters entre on the fringe of the body, but don't resolve to anything significant. Slightly complex but limited by the uninteresting barley foundation. Well balanced but emphatic of the lemon ester.
Mf: Smooth and wet, to just the right degree. Matches and complements the flavours of the body.
Dr: Decent ABV, but too bland to be great. Not worth the otherwise affordable price. Avoid.
