Review from notes im digging up from January. On tap, the brew apoears a clouded yellow color with white topping.
The aroma includes notes of clove and pear/apple skins. Pretty typical saison smell with a backing of fruity depth and a hearty wheat aspect.
The taste is like fresh wheat grain but quite dry with hints of pear/apple skins and clove spice. Some lemon like coriander and grass/herbal hops are also present.
This is a medium to light bodied brew with a slight watery feel at times. This is dialed into everything I like about your standard saison: dry, spicy and fruity. Yet, I never really felt like the brett came through like it could/shoul have which is why I didnt score it higher.
