A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, lemons. Taste is full of hops, I didn't get that in the aroma, light malts and lemons. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a highly refreshing beer.

Appearance: Pours a rather clear, rich yellow-toned body with an inch of delicate, white foam. Looks good. Good lacing, too.
Smell: Simple barley with a firm edge of graininess about it. Minute citrus backs a bit more robust pine and spiciness.
Taste: Crisp barley, lightly toasted grains and a wee hint of rock candy sweetness. A little fruitiness, pine and spice from the hops and a fair amount of cleansing bitterness. Closes out dry and crisp.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Works for me.

Pours a clear yellow straw color with a light amber hue. A modest head quickly dissipates, however, the general appearance shows some character.
The aroma highlights sweet bready malts. Surprisingly, there is a significant presence of floral and fruity hops aromas.
The taste opens sweetly and with delicate flavors of bready malt. It is well hopped with a restrained but bold bitterness. Hops flavors are grassy, floral and citrusy.
Light to medium bodied, crisp and refreshing. The carbonation is moderate. The finish is clean and dry.
This was a well made Lager in that it was tasty and refreshing. I feel it is underrated.

Poured from a 12oz can into pint glass in April 2019.
Appearance: Medium gold with a thick white head. Head is lasts a long time and leaves much lacing on the glass.
Smell: Mild aroma of of malt. There is also some earthy tones and some bitter aroma like hops, and a hint of sweetness like caramel as well.
Taste: There is a surprising bitterness flavors from hops for a lager. There is also a sweetness typical of lagers. There is a mild alcohol presence as with other lagers, which matches the 5.5% advertised.
Mouth-feel: Medium with a smooth body, that is not too creamy.
This is a good lager, and is more complex than I expected. It has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. It is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. Compared to other lagers, it has more body and hop flavors and bite. I would buy this again.
