With its solid finger-and-a-half of tawny, creamy head with great retention, I thought that it might have been an N2 pour, but it was from a standard CO2 tap. Wow! The color was a deep brown with ruby highlights and NE-quality clarity. The nose had a grassiness that could only have been borne of glorious hops. This was a welcome change from some of the summer beers that I had been drinking of late. The mouthfeel was medium with a caramel/toffee flavor on the tongue. The finish had a mild bitterness that lingered. I could drink this fairly regularly if nothing else were available, but it is generally an occasional for me.

Tried this one on tap tonight at Iron Hill Brewery in Lancaster, PA. It poured a deep cloudy amber color with a small lacy tan head clinging around the rim of the glass. It didn't have an overwhelming aroma to it. A small toasty malt aroma rounded with a little hoppyness. Some floral scents seemed present. The taste wasn't overly exciting but it was however very smooth and balanced between malts and a slight hop character. No alcohol presense in the taste. Mostly a slightly sweet hoppy flavor. There was a little carbonation and a medium bodied mouthfeel. As I said before, this wasn't the most exciting beer, but, it was very drinkable and refreshing nonetheless.
