Iron Hill's Biere de Mars describes itself as: "A French farmhouse style ale brewed to celebrate the arrival of spring. This orange-hued ale is brewed with wheat and aromatic malts, and a touch of orange peels for a smooth ale with complex flavors and aromas."
If you like Weissbiers in the style of Ayinger's Brau-Weisse than this is the beer for you. Awesome citrus and yeast flavors, nice carbonation, a great beer with nachos or pizza - just a fine brew.

I was served this ale in a mug, transferred to a goblet cold. I enjoyed this on tap at Iron Hill's Lancaster PA location.
A - Dark golden/light amber w/ great clarity. A full creamy lasting pale head crowns the beer. The bead is very fine and there is plenty of sticky lace
S - Spicy Belgian yeast and full hop woodiness w/ malt elements and peppery green odors in the nose.
M - Dry, spicy and yeasty textures w/ a light hop bitterness and mild nutty texture. The effervescence is appropriately high-in range for the style w/ moderately full feel and alcohol noted on the palate in the dry aspect
T - The flavor has yeast and spices upfront w/ pepper and mild citrus in the peripheral w/ coriander and a mild hint of radish in the hop bittering. There is a slight vegetal note and very herbal flavor from the hops(I might guess they are noble), but the light toast/nutty taste is upstaged by the alcohol in the flavor. The light tropical notes w/ hints of herbs and spice intermingle w/ yeast flavors which gives a light astringent and medicinal taste.
D - Not my first choice on the IH Lancaster tap list -very dry and spicy for my taste. The abv is noticeable which made the mug more than I bargained for. I like the style, but prefer the bottled Saison to the Biere de Mars-it is a mixed bag w/ moderate drinkability for me.

a: This a slightly hazy golden orange color. It was served to me short wite cap that lasted quite awhile.
s: Perfumed hops, oranges, and some yeasty, wheaty bread notes. Fairly mild overall.
t: This a little on the sweet side. Sweet, wheaty malts muted somewhat by flavors of orange peel and flowey, dry yeastiness.
m: Long lived, creamy carbonation.
d: This was good, but a little too sweet for my taste.
