Kevin's interpretation of an American Pilsner debuted this week and is an impressive beer. Brewed with a pile of Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner malt, these ample fermentables get the American to just over 6% ABV; which is pretty good considering its tasty drinkability. The American Pilsner has a nice full aroma and is a greenish gold in the glass. It's unfiltered haze gives the beer some visual depth, very nice! All northwest American hops are used and Kevin's recipe included Columbus for bittering, Cascade for flavor, then Citra/Cascade for aroma and flavor and a little dry hopping. This is a round, full bodied, very drinkable beer, with some spritely conditioning that helps the balance. Great job, drink up!
