Pours a crystal-clear, pale gold body topped with a finger of fluffy, eggshell-white foam; decent head retention leaves a sliver of cap, modest, frothy collar, and healthy spatter of webby, soapy lacing around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of fresh straw open into a floral undertone, with mild sweet corn showing tentative cereal grain progressions.
Taste offers dry grass and subliminal suggestions of wet garden before firming with notes of cereal grain over the mid-palate as straw builds to a taut, mineral water finish.
Mouthfeel brings a light body and a moderate-full fluff of carbonation; crisp textures largely prevail into subliminal bittering lingering past the mid-palate as a semi-wetness impresses on the finish.
Persistent bitterness betrays the cleaner, sweeter tendencies; a standardly enjoyable cream ale gone very slightly awry.
