Framboise is our Flanders Red aged for more than a year in oak barrels and added Raspberries to create this wonderfully tart and fruity, pink foamed delight. It has raspberry, oak, pie crust & earthy aromas. Framboise is a gently sweet and moderately tart beer, with a mild lingering sourness and sweetness.

On tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish red color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells oaky and red-wine forward, with very tart raspberry, lemon, and chocolate.
I love that a Flanders red was used as the base for this, giving the base some malty heft that helps balance the fairly high tartness from the raspberries. There’s a touch of oak, and some definite jammy wine notes from the barreling.
This is medium bodied, definitely a slow sipper due to the intense flavors.
This is pretty delightful, and I’m very curious how it will age.
