On tap at Leonore’s in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like white pepper, clove, a floral yeasty funk, and some grassiness.
This is definitely old school, as saison goes, in the Dupont style, with a really pleasant pepperiness that goes well with the Asian fusion food at this place. There’s clove, floral notes, some pear skin, and a bit of grassy hop character.
This is medium bodied, almost fluffy, and well carbonated, with a nice drinkability.
I don’t know a ton about this beer, but I know that I definitely enjoyed it.
