473 mL can from the brewery; dated Jul 8 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and turbid, its pale golden-hued body capped with one finger of loose, sudsy white head that fizzles within a minute or two. A thin collar and filmy cap remain indefinitely, with plenty of messy lace produced after each sip; looks like a NEIPA. The aroma is mellow and fruity, offering up hints of melon, orange, papaya and flowery hops.
The flavours are along the same lines: mellow, with a modest range of fruity hop flavours supplying most of the substance. I'm mainly getting tropical fruits such as mango and papaya, with hints of orange, melon, apricot and cereal grain sweetness also detectable. A flash of floral hop bitterness at the finish is quickly overcome, with tropical fruits and Asian pear fading into the aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with low carbonation that weakly agitates the surface of the palate; smooth, soft mouthfeel. Very drinkable for 6.5%, at least in theory - I'm nearing the bottom of my glass, and I'm ready to move on to something else.
Final Grade: 3.74, a B grade. Slow Slow is a serviceable, albeit somewhat underwhelming hazy IPA. What I mean to say is, there's nothing structurally wrong or off-putting about this brew - it's just not really hitting any high notes for me. I like the flavours & aromas that I'm getting, but they're very low-intensity - which, given the beer's name, I suppose isn't all that surprising. If you're in the mood for a mellow, fruity IPA with very low bitterness, don't shy away from this one, but don't expect any socks to be knocked off, either.

Yes hops, in the style. Yeasty and not so drinkable. Hop aromas, and hop delivery. A bit acidic finish. They aim for a lower bar? Can from the source.
