Hops: Fuggle
Malts: Pale, Marris Otter, Crystal Dark, Chocolate, Roasted Barley
IBU 33 / 21 Plato
This beer is big, rich and boozy, but deceptively smooth and creamy. It has a beautiful english yeast ester profile and an intense chocolatey, roasty finish. One sip and you’ll stay true to this one.

Pint can brought fresh from the brewery to this tasting in Toulouse, France. Pours pretty. Nice rich topper of foam and all.
Bland nose, given the plethora of roasted grains used.
Taste is very generic - fresh, yes, the 9.6% ABV is right up front, but the beer is just.,. lacking. Kind of a muscular homebrew vibe, but I’m searching for something positive to say here.
Mouth is medium and creamy, it’s low to medium carbonation.
Overall, damn! If I knew this brew was gonna be this common, I’d a brought another Big Bad Baptist home instead. Next!
