Sweet Leaf from Oscar’s Brewing Company in cahoots with String Beer. 16 fl oz can, received 18/05/26, in a ninja strike from @2beerdogs. Stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 20/05/26, review 3730. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Served at 50.1 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature is 57.5 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), opaque.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lit, same.
Head – Average (Maximum 3.7 cm, aggressive center pour). Alabaster, high density, average duration; the head drops to a 0.2 – 0.3 cm crown, and a partial, rocky cap.
Lacing – Fair. Tiny to small bubbles strung in a narrow band with bizarre stalactites and columns connecting to the remaining crown.
Aroma – 4 – Very light peach and citrus.
Flavor – 4 – Slightly bitter. Weakly peach and mango, no alcohol (7.9 % according to the label). No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No gastric warming.
Palate – 4 – Medium: Creamy: Lively carbonation.
Style: Follows the BA style description.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Uncredited label art. Very pleasing flavor combination, caresses the taste buds. I could drink this all day, until I passed out. (Note: Yet another brewer that admonishes me to “Drink Fresh” but doesn’t bother to date the container.)

On tap at Oscar's.
Pretty enough. But this is all about the nose and flavor.
Meanders between pineapple, mango, orange zest, peach, and a stunningly satisfying, sometimes sweet, creamy flavor. Hints of weedy resin chime in shyly and retreat. So much going on here. And it is ALL good.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
