Collaboration with The Admiral. Made with 6-Row Pilsner, Great Chit & Bloody Butcher corn from Riverbend Malt House with Huell Melon hops. Rested on The Admiral's house-made preserved lemons, lemon juice and sea salt. Fermented inside our cherrywood foudre with native wild yeast. Notes of briney lemon, tart citrus zest, lemon meringue and a soft earthy spice.

Appearance: Arrives clear and golden colored with a two finger head that leaves sheets of lacing behind
Smell: Briny and herbal with lemon meringue pie tones
Taste: The flavor profile leads off with strong herbal elements that are joined by the brine and lemon tones; oaky through the middle and salty in the back end with a touch of lemon meringue pie in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I struggled with how to categorize this brew - Untappd lists it as a Farmhouse Ale which is a better catch-all than Saison; however it is categorized, it is a very creative beer that I enjoyed a lot
