6-pack of 12 ounce cans - $12.49 at Round Trip - East Cobb Brewery & Kitchen in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Totally flat pour - any effervescence is dead in about 1-2 seconds. Lightly hazy, light gold body. No head formation whatsoever, no lace.
Smell: Worrisome slight aroma of low-grade chicken broth. Ah, geez. I got a whole six pack of this crap?
Taste: Pils malt with a tangy, twangy, cidery element with a weird raw harshness. Undrinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Near nil carbonation.
Overall: Yeesh. This used to be a rather good, very reliable beer. Whatever is landing in the cans these is pretty poor and a total waste of twelve bucks.

Pours a crystal clear Ellis color with a foamy white head that lingers. Beautiful Helles lager.
The nose features lots of floral hop and spicy grass notes courtesy of the noble hops, and there’s also a nice bit of cereal grain.
The taste follows the nose and is perfectly balanced and flavorful, with the crisp, clean mouthfeel adding to the delightful drinking experience.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy gold. Fluffy head with moderate retention.
Aroma: crackery malt, floral hops.
Flavor & aftertaste: Medium sweet malt backbone, floral/herbal/ spicy hops. Moderate but balancing bitterness
Mouth-feel: Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Short, dry clean finish.
Overall: Billed as an export style Helles, Round Trip hits the marks very well. It's quite hoppy (floral & spicy, not citrus or tropical) and has notable bitterness that was not expected but is both balancing and appropriate for this style. Finish is dry, crisp with a slight lingering bitterness. This was tough for me to score because I don't enjoy bitter beers that much, but they captured the style quite well it seems. Gave it solid marks for characteristics, but a little lower score overall for enjoyment.
