Draft: Poured an amber color alger with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with some dry cereal and floral notes. Taste is also a mix of dry caramelized malt notes with some dry cereal notes and floral undertones. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Easily drinking Oktoberfest style beer.

6-pack of 12 ounce cans - $11.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a relatively clear, tawny amber color with a medium-sized, off-white head.
Smell: A malt aroma smelling of dry, crisp toasted breadcrusts alongside a very subtle hint of yeast.
Taste: A taste of toasted maltiness with a medium-light sweetness. There's a very subdued herbal, earthy hint with a small flicker of bitterness at the mid-point. A minute hint of yeast. Lightly drying into the smooth finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A pleasant, pleasing, local o-fest.

Drank on tap at brewery. Dark amber color. A quickly dissipating head. Taste is a bit muted but maybe it’s just me. Notes of cashews. A smooth finish.

Appearance: Brilliant copper, off white fluffy head with good retention.
Aroma: Toasty bread, light caramel, malt. Spicy hops. No esters.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Malty: Toasty, light caramel. Hops: Spicy/Herbal. Restrained bitterness. Medium sweetness.
Mouth-feel: Full bodied, light to moderate carbonation. Drying, with medium length finish. No astringency.
Overall: Brilliant & clear. Good head retention. Terrific smelling Marzenbier. Telltale toasted, bready malt accented by spicy & floral hops. Initially sweet, but dry at the finish. RIch malty backbone. Appropriate, yet restrained bitterness. Soft, well-rounded mouthfeel. This is a well-crafted Marzen. Brewer paid good attention to details. Displays good balance between malt & hops elements and bitterness that is not off-putting. Moved way up my list of domestically made favorites. I'd drink these many times over.
Added note: 2024 U.S. Beer Open Bronze Medal winner German style Marzen/Festbier.
