Appearance: A tawny-hued, dark copper body, a little obscured with a slim, sandy head on top.
Smell: Rich, toasty malts with a little cooked plum, dried herbal tones and a rather subdued, restrained smoked malt character.
Taste: Rich, toasted bread maltiness with a sprinkling of brown sugar, though with limited sweetness. Fruitskin fruitiness. Herbal, black tea-esque hops. It's smoke character is pretty tame. Little touch of alcohol. Semi-dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-soft carbonation. Very subtle creaminess.
Overall: Pretty likable.

I want to like this style of beer but I never do. It’s reddish colored with medium head.
Notes of….. smoke and more smoke. Maybe some almonds in there. Overall not my favorite.
