Appearance: Served up a medium dark brown body, clouded with an inch or so of ivory-toned foam.
Smell: Presents a moderately malty aroma of caramelized sugars, deeply toasted breadcrusts, dried fruits, phenolic spice, floral-toned alcohol wafts.
Taste: Spiced brown sugar, heavy toast with a little light dusting of cocoa powder. Moderate sweetness. Plum, gold raisin and some unripened banana. Lightly peppery, clove-hinting phenols. Light alcohol warmth. Fairly smooth finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. A light creaminess on the mouthfeel.
Overall: A solid, likable East Cobb dubbel.
