Pours a pale golden color that’s nearly clear and features a frothy white head that lingers as a cap on the beer for the entire drink. Beautiful beer.
The nose leans heavily on a honeyed cereal grain aroma that is also a little nutty, like Honey Nut Cheerios, with just a touch of grassy noble hops.
The taste follows suit, with that delicious honeyed cereal grain and the nuts balanced by a slightly spicy noble hop flavor that is accentuated by a crisp, clean mouthfeel.
This is classified as a Marzen, but by its color and flavor profile, it leans more to a Festbier, IMHO. Whatever it is, it’s exceptionally well executed and quite delicious.

Canned 9/26/22; drank 11/6/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; frothy lace.
Honeyed grain, maize & mild acorn notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Honeyed cereal grain & mild acorn flavors up front; mild caramel & faint orange peel notes on the finish.
Almost a marzen / festbier hybrid here -- it's sweet but not dark; flavorful but not syrup-y. A big winner for me.
