A blended saison that is refermented with beets and dry hopped with fresh rosemary. We got both of the beets and rosemary grown locally at Granor Farm.

Appearance - The poured a gorgeous maroon red color, bringing to mind borscht.
Smell - The beer had a pleasant esrthy, perhaps herbal nose.
Taste - At the front, the beer was floral and Earthy. There was a definite presence of beets, maybe even pickled beets that parallel the funk of the style. The profile seemed a little medicinal (rosemary?) at the finish.
Mouthfeel - Even with high carbonation, the beer had some viscosity.
Overall - Odd, but tasty.
