Crowler can. Can is marked for fill date as '9/21/2021'.
Black colored body. Two fingers of mocha brown head, which settles to thick, bubbly cap. Leaves some spots and trails of lacing.
Aroma is roasted chocolate malt, with a molasses edge. Spicy rye may be more suggested than present.
Taste is dry dark cocoa malts. The spicy rye is at the last bit going into the aftertaste.
Thinner than medium mouth feel. A little chalky. Presents a little bite to the tongue. Good carbonation.
Less presence of rye than expected. Malts really express a dry cocoa flavor.
