12 oz bottle with an expiry date 5 weeks in the future. Purchased refrigerated in San Jose, CR.
Appearance. Hazy yellow-golden body with a decent white head.
Feel. Light bodied with soft carbonation that might be lower than optimal.
Passion fruit notes dominate the pleasing aroma of this fruit beer, but the flavor has less fruitiness than the aroma suggests. Passion fruit notes in the taste are well balanced by a bready base with light hops.
Overall. Excellent fruit beer that shouldn't be missed if you like passion fruit.

Bought and consumed in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Poured from the 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: The beer is a bright yellow color topped with an off-white head that is fizzy and has a bit of retention to it.
S: Definitely smells of passion fruit strongly, but also tropical hops, making me think of a nice refreshing pale ale.
T: Passion fruit is front and center, but not too sweet. Has a bit of tartness then balanced by a hint of citrus.
Overall: A nice refreshing beer in the heat. Didn't get too cloying as I feared it might. A good beer for the beach.
