The aroma is rich with notes of roast coffee and toasted biscuit, dissolving into a hint of residual sweetness. Appearance is opaque dark brown with an off-white head. Medium-bodied and dry on the tongue with a medium carbonation. The flavor begins strong with heavy notes of roasted grain before pulling back to reveal a smooth, creamy finish that contains hints of toffee and biscuit. Dry but sweet, heavy yet light, this beer burrows deep while still being easy-drinking and sessionable. It really is Fantastic.

Looks beautiful, black with a nice layer of foam. Roasty toasty scented and flavored. Surprisingly heavy at just 4% but made for some great winter sipping. Slight off-flavor was my only complaint
