Pours a pale gold, hazy colour with an oversized head. As expected, cloves, bubblegum and bananas adorn the taste and smell. Nicely carbonated

Appearance: Poured with two fingers worth of head that produced some minor lace but managed to stick around for a good while. The body is a cloudy plantain yellow, but of note was some weird white wisps that came out of the can that dissolved into it, further clouding the beer that I've never seen a hefe do before.

Smell: Some light Banana and Wheat malt but there just isn't a lot here, even after ample warming the smell just doesn't come out. There's nothing bad, but it's plain and just doesn't achieve anything resembling good potency.

Taste: Wheat, turning to banana with hints of clove and a bit of a nutty earth note at the end rounding things out. Textbook hefe with a bit of a unique almost nut like spin at the end.

Mouthfeel: Foamy and soap texture indicating a great amount of carbonation. Aftertaste is mild mixed aftertaste, with maybe that nutty end adding a bit more and a nice wisp of dryness making you want more. Transitioning is good, but this beer doesn't go on a long journey.

Drinkability: On the lighter end of medium body and highly quaffable. This is the perfect end of spring, leading into summer, or dog days of summer drinker. Settles down very well, which to be honest given how light it comes across as, had best be the case.

Final Thoughts: All in all a good hefe with a unique spin at the end, but a bit too light to really push the envelope any more. Still, this is a great easy, light, drink which while I wouldn't say it's a summer time guzzlers, certainly had a great niche to drink. Certainly worth a quaff.

Pale hazy honey gold, moderate head and a little touch of lace. Wheat and cloves on the nose. Banana, too. Appetizing. Fairly spritzy, thin bodied. Deliciously wheaty and spicy. A good, honest hefe, no half measures. Quite drinkable.
