Crowler:
Near black body fills glass with a deep tan head topping it. Nose is a bit of charred wood with a hint of piney to slightly herbal hop aromas. Very smooth with tame carbonation. Taste is pretty roasty - on the stout side of roast. Hops add to the roast bitterness with some piney bitterness sneaking through late and in the linger. Pretty straightforward version of the style, in my opinion.
