Nice enjoyable sessionable IPA. Aroma is pleasant and not overbearing. Caramel notes for maltiness and a bit floral and citrus on the nose. Should be rated higher IMO.

Paid 2.19 for the bottle. Into a pint glass.

A - Pretty decent is is rather hazy/dirty amber brown with a 1/4 inch of head that pulls back to a pretty sweet lace ring.
S - Somewhat muted but herbal hop bitterness. Touch of sugary malt. Some bready malts. Really not much.
T - Huh its not it the hop bitterness its mostly malt like an old ale but easy going. Not really good or bad.
M - Light to medium easy to drink.

Overall I guess it could use more hop bitterness since it comes off as a lower ABV barleywine but a very drinkable one. Could be old but who the heck knows with no bottle date!

Bottle > Sensory Pils
A - Pours a cloudy gold, nice two finger soapy head, nice lacing.
S - Smell is bad, I realize this is old, but this is a base aroma that I'm getting lots of weird smelling yeast, licorice, a tad bit of floral hops, burnt caramel.
T - Diacetyl is definitely present, some mild hop bite, biscuit malt.
M - Thin and unpleasant mouthfeel.
O - I know this is old, but whats the advantage of making your beer organic if it tastes bad? I cant see this being good even if it was fresh. I'm going to take a stab and say that diacetyl was in here before it "aged". I cant remember I have some more Bison beer stashed away in my collection to try, but I know to avoid this brand from now on.

Poured onto a snifter. Nice 1/2" head on top of an amber colored liquid. Nice lacing, lookin' good.

Smells like grapefruit mixed with ammonia, nuthin' special here.

Taste is pretty darn decent, tho it finishes somewhat sour.

So this beer has been retired? I just got it a couple days ago, but there is no date on the bottle that I can find. The bottle I've got is identical to the photo above. Oh well, can't say I'll miss it, but don't regret trying it. Actually, not too bad at all.
