Very approachable with amber color and moderate strength. This ale is highlighted with honey, vanilla and orange blossom notes that make it the perfect bridge between some of our darker and lighter beers. If you have ever driven from NYC to Montauk I'm sure you have seen Linda Scotts six story structure known as STARGAZER.The structure is a rendering of a deer looking up at the sky and is located on the north side of Manorville Road.

The bartender described this as a hop forward beer with an orange vanilla back end. That's as good a description as I can come up with. It has a dark amber color with a white head. The nose is remarkably sweet, which belies the hops that soon arrive. I found the sweetness to be a bit much as it lingered on the tongue, and tired out the palate. It's an interesting idea, but I can't see doing this again.

The clear amber tap pour hosts a thin white foam cap and an aroma of artificial vanilla and the old orange marshmallow peanut-shaped candy.
The flavor is a combination of those candies and baby aspirin.
The hop bitterness is light to moderate.
This is not-so - fun.
