At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned October 10/25. My third beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Gracefully licked by Gracie the cat...

Poured a 355ml can into a pint glass. a two finger white head on a pale yellow. The head soon diminishes to a thin layer that sticks around. Some patchy lacing.
Slightly soapy smell.
Tastes better than it smells. A weakish Pilsner. Moderately sweet. A very mild hop finish.
Medium body and carbonation.
No major flaws. Better than BMC for the price.

355 mL can from Superstore; "FB: 05/11/23", which I assume means freshest by Nov 5 2023. Served slightly chilled.
Pours a bright, crystal clear golden colour, with an inch of fluffy, soapy white head situated atop. Within a few minutes, it has wilted down to a frothy collar and sudsy cap, with plenty of lace left in its wake - it's an attractive lager, I'll give it that. The aroma is grainy, with hints of corn chips and grain husk, as well as a wisp of grassy hops.
This is a little closer to an American lager than a pilsner, with a sweet, malty flavour profile that goes extremely light on the hops. Grainy malts, bready sweetness and corn chips at first, with light grassy, herbal hops making a brief appearance at the finish. The aftertaste is malty with some metallicity, and rather persistent. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that contributes to a frothy mouthfeel; it's got a good crisp, bite after each sip. Effortlessly easy to gulp back.
Final Grade: 3.33, a low B-. I'll conclude this review by mentioning that I know Yup! Pils is a budget beer, and for less than two dollars a can I do think it's good value. It's better than most of the macros, and if you just want a cheap lager then this'll fit the bill nicely. But it's an objectively sub-par pilsner, and I can't recommend it on that basis. More like a dollar store Mill Street Organic Lager: if you can spare the toonie, I guess it's worth taking a shot on.
