This deceptively strong saison was given the name Quatre for the 4 months it spent conditioning in stainless steel after its primary French Saison fermentation. We used bohemian floor malted pilsner malt for a rich body and smooth mouth feel. This brings notes of honey and an earthiness that pairs well with the spice from the yeast and the loral hops. It then gives way to a pleasant lemony finish. This beer begs to be paired with middle eastern spice.

Herald St. Brew Works 'Quatre' @ 8.01% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a light gold from the can to glass with a small off-white head leaving a spotty lace ring along the tulip
S-earthy , floral
T-bit strong yet smooth
MF-mild carbonation , big full body
Ov-I like the second beer a bit more , worthy addition to Victoria's beer scene
