Bought a growler at the brewery...Stockyards is the rebranded Red Circle brewing outfit... the tap monkey tried to tell me this was their former Red Circle Vienna lager... IT IS NOT...color is different, (less reddish copper) and the gravity is different ( The Vienna was 5.3)... That said: This is a very good rendition of a Franconian/Bamberg landbier...edging on Kellerbier style...pours a hazed burnished gold with a 2 finger white cap....aromas of cooked bready cereals, light herbal hop undertone...Flavor starts with a big chew of delightful malts in front where herbal hopping quickly intercedes to balance...long mlty finish where the hopping turns a bit bitter...extremely smooth, medium bodied and malty...satisfying Teutonic golden lager
