Life is a journey to the grave. The dust in the middle determines the mettle of our lives. You might choose to arrive safely, in a well-preserved body. We prefer to skid broadside into death’s embrace. Tired and used up, smile creased into our faces from a life lived in hard search of the edge. The only way to live. This IPA is dry with notes of grapefruit and pine. Goes well with a dusty grin on your face.

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is '11/21/22'.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head quickly dissipates to an island and thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet malt, grapefruit, and pine.
Taste is a little sweet, but has the flavors of grapefruit (juicy pulp and pith) and resiny pine. Has considerable bitter notes. Lots of grapefruit and pine continue in the aftertaste.
A little less than medium mouth feel. Very dry finish. Prickly on the tongue. Good carbonation.
The beer does not have a long lasting taste profile (because of its drying nature) but the initial pop is strong with grapefruit citrus and pine.

A somewhat bland pale ale, but certainly not objectionable. I can get it fresh at the brewery so, it does have some appeal to me. I do think that Sierra Nevada PA is smoother and has a more pleasing flavor.
