Our first lager, which has a complex malty flavor and aroma with a sweet, toasty taste. It is well-balanced, clean and smooth, with hints of caramel. First brewed in 2011, it was such a success.

Had on tap at whole foods Columbus circle- pours a clear golden orange color. Less than a finger if head, minimal retention, some nice lacing. Too light in color.
Smell is kinda like a marzen- mostly yeast, a little bit of light roasted malt,a little noble hops. Unimpressive.
Taste is consistent with the smell- yeast predominant throughout. Light roasted malt comes in the middle, followed by a touch of hops and finishes out with the yeast.
Mouthfeel is at least good- light body, moderate carbonation. This is a weak Oktoberfest in my opinion; it's too watery, almost tastes like an adjunct lager. Won't get again.
