Hopped with our selected Mosaic from Yakima Chief and some beautiful 2021 Nelson from Freestyle Hops. We are super stoked to bring you our second WC DIPA in cans! It will also be on tap staring today :) Loadies for life.

Pours from a can a clear glowing gold. Amazing clarity, although the foam comes across as a little soapy.
The aroma hits immediately, from the first crack of the lid to the final drops. White wine grape and blueberry concentrate burst on the palate and fill the olfactory senses. A wonderful sipper.

This was like the 2nd or 3rd beer I had at the dipa festival. Remember Lodi the wrestler? Remember being called Loady when you got too high and camped on the bowl/joint? Good times.

Pours the ultra familiar golden yellow color, 1/3" white head. Good look for a festival pitcher pour. Nelson and Mosaic bring the dank, I wish I could have smelled more of this, wanted MOAR. Did the lean on the tropical fruit humid aspect of the nose.

Taste still brought that moderate hop rate for these hops. Does a good job not being overly bitter or boozy, but both are present in a respectable way. Light malt bill, minimal as the trend goes. Keeps it decently crisp throughout. For being Mosaic and Nelson, there isn't quite as much "dankness" as other beers with the same hops. And then it has more than some do. So moderate. I guess they canned this one up, I'd definitely give it a chance if I came across it again, it was one of the better beers at the festival.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly piney, and mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a super clean, slightly malty, tropical hoppy, and piney bitter finish. No sign of Nelson here, but that is probably due to this being about a month old when I had it. Still good!

Thanks, Cassidy and Chris. Mosaic + Nelson version, canned 07 Feb.

A clear light orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is dry and rainy with a really punchy hop profile, bright, tropical and with citrus notes. Grape and a little gooseberry are present. The palate opens bright and bitter, clean and dry with grape, gooseberry, melon and some tropical fruit. As with the DDH IPA i had last night, there's a unique malt character, clean and soft, which, when combined with the hops, lends a slight cooked citrus note. Dry, bitter, clean and pungent on the finish. Light in body, bitter and clean, this beer is moderately carbonated. Quite excellent.
