Sweet butterscotch and toffee bits, dark fruity figs, and a vanilla-bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a caramel covered chocolate candy malty and an oak-barrel, bourbon boozy finish. This is not as complex and dialed in as When The Poet Dies is, but this is still very good! Wondrous knows how to brew top quality barleywines!
