Triple Barrel Lagered Triple Bock 13.8% ABV
Brewed with the one n’ only, legendary Brad Clark of Private Press Brewing
Meaning “Frozen Skull” in German, this Triple Bock is one of a kind and hands down our most luxurious beer ever made. Double Mashed with an ice cold lager fermentation, and 2.5 years in barrels, transferred 3 times into different freshly dumped bourbon barrels to build beautiful complexity. Brewed in October of 2022, put into its first barrel in December of that year, then those barrels were lagered in our fridge at 35°f the whole time! Overall this beer spent 7 months in Basil Hayden barrels, 4.5 months in Heaven Hill barrels and 18.5 months in Buffalo Trace/1792 barrels all at ice cold lagering temperatures. To us, the cold lager barreling brings a smoother, more refined oak character to the beer that creates a truly unique & delectable drinking experience. A true collaboration of big beer brewing, lager brewing and friendship. -> Luscious layers of dark caramel, chocolate, vanilla oaky-ness, sweet molasses, brown sugar toffee, barrel spice, and dark fruits.
