This is our Amber Rye Farmhouse Ale that we added local hand picked Apples & Pears. Brewed with rye and caramel malts to beef this Farmhouse Ale up for the falling leaves and temperatures. Expect a crisp, malty, and fruity beer with an enjoyable tartness.

12oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Cloudy, medium amber colored body. The pour creates a quick to foam off white colored head but this head quickly retreats to a thin cap. Spots of lacing slide back down into the body.
Aroma of leather and tobacco funk along with fruity apple and pear.
Taste is tart, with some fruity sweetness. Ester flavors of grass, hay, and wood. Fruit flavors of pear and apple. Aftertaste loses sweetness and settles on a woody note, but the aftertaste does not linger.
Medium mouthfeel. Crisp through the mouth and finishes dry. Very good carbonation.
The added fruits add some complexity to this yeast-led brew.
