One of the more interesting and better brews from BIg Alice.
A smokey bomb of a beer. Lots of peat, charcoal, burnt wood, campfire, all the wonderful flavors up front. A malty back bone, some sweetness to balance, although not much of the saison quality.
A good beer to pair with barbecue and smoked foods. A good homage to the wonderful Schlenkerla brews of Bamberg.
