On tap at Feathered Serpent Brewing in La Puente, CA.
Pours a really deep brown and produces a nice khaki head that rises more than an inch. Settles in at a thin layer and leaves light lacing.
Aroma is roasted malt, hint of coffee, and very subdued sweet notes.
Flavor follows the aroma faithfully. This is an old school imperial stout.
Mouthfeel is fine for style, medium heft. Low carbonation and finishes with toasty bitter note.
