After being pulled from resting in a Few Spirits Bourbon barrel, we conditioned this dark stout on mounds of flaked coconut and roasted peanuts.

Pours a viscous, oil-black body pushing minimal semblance of carbonation to the surface before quickly dissipating to an inky void, slim collar, and minimal-no lacing holding to the walls of the glass.
Aroma offers a lush exchange of toasted coconut and rich peanut depth, with Nutter Butter accents acting as first impressions into a backing char and wafts of bourbon-doused marshmallow.
Taste opens to toasted coconut coated in barrel/oak as a dark chocolate char settles into peanut butter silk past the mid-palate and dark-roast coffee edges linger into the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a full body alongside minimal carbonation and bolstered by a level silk and creamy suggestions coated the mid-palate; subtle char cuts effectively, leaving vaguely sticky tendencies and mild warmth on the back end.
Extensive interplay between sweeter coconut and savory peanut in a richly structured, adjunct-forward expression; a primary factor at the pinnacle of the Little Cottage barrel program.
